Taufkirchen/Mühldorf/Thornton (Colorado) - 17.07.2012 - SunPlan gibt eine Führung für das Ruperti Gymnasium Mühldorf auf dem Energiepark Höllthal
This July our German American Partnership Program group from Thornton, Colorado took a tour of one of the many Sunplan solar panel fields. During our time in southern Bavaria my students noticed the numerous solar panels in the fields and on rooftops and were excited to learn how these systems worked and why they were in such widespread use in this area.
Mr. Hager took the afternoon to show us around the photovoltaik power plant, which had once been a landfill, and thoroughly explain renewable energies in Germany. My students new a little about renewable energies, and some of the technologies behind energy production. On this fieldtrip they learned much more about how Sunplan and Germany in general is leading the charge in developing sustainable, renewable, technologies that will help produce the energy we need in the future. We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Hager and Sunplan for supporting our exchange program and teaching our students about sustainable, renewable energy.
